Rummagio
Our story

Built for my dad. Now for everyone.

Joshua Griffin and his dad

It started with my dad. He had a garage full of boxes and no idea what was in any of them. So I did what anyone would: I made him a spreadsheet. It sort of worked, but it was janky. Hard to update, hard to search, and no use when you're stood in the garage holding a box.

I've spent years in e-commerce and marketing, including running my own online shop. In that world, warehouses use proper stock systems that tell you exactly where everything is. They're brilliant, but they're built for businesses and priced for them too. Nothing like that existed for someone who just wants to sort out the loft.

So I built Rummagio. Number your boxes, list what's inside, stick a label on, and find anything in seconds. Simple enough for my dad, who was the first person to use it.

It works in your web browser for now. With enough of you on board, it'll become a proper phone app, with plenty more to come, like sharing with your household.

Thanks for giving it a go.
