The rules, kept short.
Plain English, no small print.
These are the rules for using Rummagio. We've kept them short and plain. By using Rummagio, you agree to them. Rummagio is run by Joshua Griffin in the UK. Email hello@rummagio.com with any questions.
Using it
Rummagio helps you keep track of what's in your boxes. You can use it for your own home and things. Please don't use it to store anything illegal or harmful, try to break it, get into other people's accounts, or use it to send spam.
Your account
You sign in with a code we email you, so keep your email account safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else has got in, email us straight away.
Your things are yours
Everything you put into Rummagio (your lists, notes and photos) stays yours. You let us store it and show it back to you so Rummagio works. We don't use it for anything else. See the privacy page for the details.
Backups
Everything is backed up once a day, and each backup is kept for 30 days, so if something goes badly wrong on our side we can put it back. We can't promise nothing will ever be lost, so for anything important, download a copy of your list now and then (Menu, under Your account).
Free and paid
Rummagio is free to use at the moment. We plan to add paid plans with extra features. Before anything you use costs money, we'll tell you clearly and give you time to decide. We'll never hold your list hostage: you'll always be able to see your things and download a copy.
If things go wrong
We work hard to keep Rummagio running and your things safe, but it's provided as it is, without guarantees. We're not responsible for things you lose, buy twice or can't find, or for any loss caused by Rummagio being unavailable. Nothing here takes away your rights under UK consumer law.
Leaving
You can remove your account and everything in it at any time, from the Menu, under Your account. We may close accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you first if we can. If we ever close Rummagio down, we'll give you plenty of notice so you can download your list.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it happens. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
